List of possible fixes: after playing KAII for a bit I ran into a savegame loading issue/the game froze. I looked on the Paradox forum; its a dead forum. I looked here and found nothing helpful. But, I did find a website with a comphrehensive list of possible fixes.

I found it helpful, since I was able to fix my freezing issue. It was pretty simple, I disabled vertical sync in the video options and the game loaded up fine.

(apologies if this has already been posted, I did not see it anywhere on the forum)

PS. This list suggests disabling your anti-virus as a solution, thats a bad suggestion. Never disable your AV.

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
