I'm sorry to say that there's not a way to revert it back to the previous version right now. 

The news team is getting a tremendous amount of feedback about the new version though, I'm sure they will take that into account as they continue to work on it.

The issue with the wrong ip based location is a known issue that they are working on right now. Hopefully will be fixed soon,
